Kenny The Commie (updated)

I've decided to delete this post.  I'm not asking anyone to forgive or forget because of this action.  I expect nothing in return for it.  I do this because it's the right thing to do, not to mitigate damage to myself or to the target.  Brothers, no matter how much they disagree or on what they disagree, should not publicly attack one another.  I am truly sorry that the post this replaces, has done that.

Thank you.

Evan Queitsch

  3. Feel free to attempt to debunk any of it...otherwise, the reality is that your piece points out the facts listed here. I don't expect you to like it, especially since it takes your little pal Matthews to task, but if you have a truth bone in your body, you'll at least realize that this is air tight.

  4. Oh, I'd expect no less from you Mr. Newton. We all know how the Delaware blogosphere is setup to watch each others backs.

  5. As a registered Republican, I find the post gratuitous and in poor taste. Most of all though, ill timed as the election was 10 days ago and hence not effective in the role of not supporting is cndidacy.

  7. That would be true John, if this particular post were specifically designed to keep him from being elected. It's not, it's about making sure that the truth gets out and to clear up some misconceptions.

And by the way, the first line of your comment was misleading. I cite your questionnaire on Delaware Liberal in which you lay out a pretty effective case for why party titles are overrated:
    http://www.delawareliberal.net/2009/05/09/christina-school-board-election-candidate-john-marshall-young/

Which party do you belong to?
Republican. 2008 Presidential vote: Nader. I am a disaffected Republican who has not been convinced by President Obama yet. However, I must confess, his intellectual curiosity and energy have impressed me greatly. My lifelong childhood friend, an avowed liberal, has me reading Savage Inequalities by Kozol, and I am becoming a more informed citizen as I age. I am the opposite of the usual equation of becoming more conservative as I age. I am moving to the middle and even left as I age. I know the first word of my answer will send some contributors and commentators into a tizzy, but I welcome any addition questions to Lps2001@aol.com and I will answer ASAP and honestly! I actually follow this blog actively, concomitantly with my lessening impulse to disagree with it regularly.

Do you believe in Evolution? Do you feel Creationism has a place in CSD?
    Yes. No.

    2. I have honestly not made a single vote based on party in my 3 years on the board. I remain impressed by Obama's curiosity, but as you well know, no one has thumbed his nose more at his signature education agenda than me in this entire state.

That said, I just don't understand the benefit of labeling Mr. Rivera. Sure it's your right, but to what end? Do you perceive this helping your senate run? I'mnot political expert, but it strikes me the answer to that is no.

      Delete
    3. Well John, it's simple, the truth, trumps my Senate run. If I lose because I state the truth as I know it, then so be it. If I choose not to speak the truth and win election, I could not sleep at night. The reality is that we have all been silent for WAY too long about what we know and it's high time we started having candid conversations about who we are and what we believe.

Now, I don't know what you would do but when I hear someone say that Communism would be a good replacement for Capitalism...and that same person is funded by marxists...I tend to take him and them at their word and say, if nothing else, the guy has communist (or marxist, progressive, etc.) tendencies. I simply take it the next logical step and call the guy a Communist.

  13. Evan,

Here is a verse for you: "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" Romans 12:18

Your slanderous post and personal attacks are poor reflections of the faith you proclaim.

As a person of faith, your public destruction of someone's reputation saddens me.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Slanderous attacks? For taking him at his own word? There are dozens of versus that tell us as Christians to hold each other accountable. You can complain all you like but I'm challenging you to point out where any of these facts are incorrect. So far, no one has been able to refute it.

  15. You sir, are a piece of shit. You know not of what you speak and you're obviously not a "good christian". A "good christian" does not judge others, as that is strictly a job for their "god". A "good christian" does not lie, whereas you've done quit a bit of lying in this post, which shows just how imbecilic you are. I'm atheist and I am a FAR better "good christian" than you are. Crawl back into the hole you crawled out of. Quit attacking decent, upstanding people. The crap you had the nerve to spew about a VERY good friend of mine that I have known for about 15 years shows just how evil you are.

Certainly your education was either propaganda of Rush-kind or you don't bother to educate your self, which is intentional ignorance and unexceptionable. Progressive = communism? That's just idiotic. And the one true Christ crap is fundamentalist the best. You scare me. You make me think that there is no hope for this country.

    1. Very typical for communists; try to shut down the truth. By not "ALLOWING" freedom of speech, in this case, the truth, you deny fairness. There's a special person named Stalin who didn't "ALLOW" protests and opposition, he jailed and executed his adversaries. I suppose that would be acceptable?

  27. Evan, someone informed me about this post and I was curious. I have to say I had a little trouble following your line of thought. I don't know Mr. Rivera, but I have had my run ins with Mr. Matthews, let's just say that we are not real fans of each other. I would say that he is at the very least a leftist and I don't think he even tries to hide it.
So if he is supporting someone it is likely they share his ideology since I have always found him to be devout in his beliefs.
What did jump out at me though was the fact that you based your initial concern about Mr. Rivera on something that happened within a setting that is designed to give those participating a sense of confidentiality, which technically you did not break, yet you expect others to trust you that it rises to a level that requires your response. It seems that if you have a problem with Mr.Rivera based on his political ideology then state that.
The other thing that I would point to is this idea of a Biblical World View. Whose? The teacher of the class? I am a strong believer that the word of Christ will speak to each individual differently based on that persons needs that God clearly understands, so I cannot tell you what the Bible should mean to you, nor can another man tell me what it should mean to me.
My feelings are that we construct our world view based on our personal understanding of the Bible. We create that view by the life we live based on the words of Christ. I also happen to be in a minority of conservatives who believe there is a seperation of church and state. I believe that Christ himself instructed us in this when he said render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. In my view this means we should keep government as far away from our faith as possible. We bring our faith to government in the way we live, and the decisions we make, not by the church we attend, or the prayers we recite in public.
We also cannot judge what is in the heart of others.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I never suggested that I judge what's in his heart. In fact, I'm doing a piece on Christians and whether we ought to judge or not. As for a Biblical Worldview...it's quite clear actually, there's no real mystery to how we are supposed to live as Christians. Likewise, Communism, which Mr. Rivera promoted, simply doesn't line up with the Word. I can understand that the Spirit speaks to each of us differently but there are still certain "Truths" that our faith expects us to accept.

As for "whose Biblical Worldview"...well it's God's worldview. The course mentioned is simply a walk through God's Word. You should check it out, the links are in the story. It's not going to affirm things like homosexuality or other morally questionable activities that many attempt to work into their faith...but for those of us willing to accept that there ARE absolutes, it's pretty eye opening. For those of us who AREN'T willing to accept it...sometimes it leads us to showing who we really are.

Evan, you're nothing but a mean little authoritarian -- a bully who wants to feel righteous about his bullying. I'll get you a brown shirt for Christmas.

  35. I'd like to thank all the blogs who linked here for their traffic. I'd also like to take a moment to point out that I have not moderated a single comment while I have been denied the ability to rebut the lies and garbage posted elsewhere. Talk about totalitarian Communists. As for "slander", well it would be possible if it weren't for the fact that everything posted here uses their own words and can be verified (most of which is linked). These people are posting videos of other people and claiming that they are me, they've come up with the most vile things to say in response to me simply calling Communists by their name and they've posted numerous accounts of personal information (some factual, some not so much) online and they have unmitigated GALL to be upset that I'd dare post some facts on my blog? I find that almost as humorous as it is sad. There's a reason why Delaware stinks right now in a lot of ways and I say it's because we keep letting these people get away with it. Well I've got news for you "Pandora", "Delaware Dem", "Geezer", Steve Newton, Mike Matthews, Kenny Rivera, "Todd" and the Anonymous cowards....I've got news for Delaware Liberal, Delaware Libertarian and Town Square Delaware and Mr. Mascitti (yea, I heard about your ridiculous rants too)....You don't scare me. You can't hurt me. Oh, you can cost me an election, maybe, but newsflash...I'd rather tell the truth and be honest and put the spotlight on creeps like you, than be elected. But I don't think that's a choice that I will have to make. I think the people of Delaware are ready to hear about who you all really are and I think they see it. For every scathing comment about me that you've made (not ONE actually disputes any of the facts in this piece by the way) I have recieved 2 or 3 private calls of support for what I've written and numerous individuals stand with me, most importantly my family and close friends. So please, keep coming back and visiting. Your hatred only makes it more clear how right I am.

  36. Ahh yes... pathetic and ridiculous as youve always been. Glad to know that you use the phrase former Marine as you are certainly the embodiment. Those that I consider my brothers are honorable and never former Marines.

And as usual, you degenerate into associations that hae no basis in fact.

Scare you? Is that what you think people who speak their mind and the truth are trying to do?

Cost you an election? - you've done that to yourself.

And anyone who dares to speak the truth is a coward? - yet you consider yourself so above us all when put your petty little words to the great vastness of the internet.

Your not a bully as some have said nor even one that others should be concerned about - instead you've shown yourself to be pathetic and sad.

    1. Actually Todd, Marines don't call themselves "ex-Marines". Separated Marines call themselves former Marines butI wouldn't expect someone like you to understand the difference. As for speaking the truth, no sir, *I* have spoken the truth here and no one can dispute it...which is why no one has. The cowards are those who posted blogs with false information who deny my comments to correct them...cowards are imbeciles like you who flyby my posting complaining about McCarthyism without a shred of evidence that anything I've posted here is innaccurate. The fact is that you and the rest of your pathetic, weak willed, left wing, progressive, liberal, Commie friends CAN'T dispute these things and you can't hide from the truth. That's why most of you gutless cowards post under secret handles because deep down inside, you're too ashamed to let the world know who you really are and what you really think. Delaware is infested with people like you. I've never once had one you online radicals confront me in person and I don't expect to either because you know that your feel good rants would be decimated in public by actual facts. Hwat's pathetic and said Todd, is that after serving this great nation as a US Marine, you allow yourself to be surrounded by their kind of America hating scum.

You continue to use labels and slander - yet you dont know me at all. Post your phone number Ill call you... then you can get to know me then you can see whther I am coward. Im not a liberal and dont carry that flag.

I respond to your statements - yet you try and fabricate things about me with no knowledge or fact. This in and of itself shows your lack of integrity.

  38. #1 - I don't do "phone calls"...show up, in person at Bible Fellowship Church (on Old Baltimore Pike in Newark), tonight, 6:30 PM for the Founders Values meeting and let's talk about why you think my speaking the truth here is #1 wrong and #2 McCarthyism....personally, I don't think you or the rest of the cowards commenting here have the guts to have the discussion.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Whats wrong is labeling without facts - you tried to do it to me and you did it to Kenny. Im not a coward nor any of the words you've tried to label me as.

McCarhtyism is using "Communism" and "communist" to invoke fear - especially without any knowledge that a person is a communist. Kenny isn't a communist and you've showed nothing to say he is. That is what is pathetic and sad.

Want to call him a liberal or supporting unions - that would be honest but you degenerate (thats whats sad) into name calling and lashing out in anger and lies (thats whats pathetic) instead of discussing facts.

Ill bet you don't do phone calls - who is the coward now? Pick an eatery or social place on main street, i'll meet you there. But not a church where the purpose is a bit higher than your words and agenda.

  40. Oh yea - make it tomorrow or Thursday - works better with my schedule.

  41. Well Todd, what about the fact that he himself stated his support for Communism in verifiable conversations not just with me but with 4 others? I think his own words are evidence enough...not to mention the FACT that he's supported by Communists/Socialists/Progressives...which is just icing on the cake.

I have given you a chance to come out and discuss your concerns with me, if you choose not to show, that displays what you really are. You're free to meet me anywhere I am (my schedule is fairly public), as for going out of my way to meet you at "an eatery"...I think not...I'll see any non cowards tonight for the "Sick and Sicker" showing....6:30PM Bible Fellowship Church....Founders Values meeting.

That statement is ironic given all the evidence of an effete bundle of sticks/fasces emerging in "solidarity" from the bowels of the body politic right in front of your eyes. Even if he is wrong in his individual attempts at pattern recognition or "labeling" based on facts, logic and evidence at least he attempts to base his view of things on some sort of financial or historical evidence.

On the other hand, the evidence of a herd like tendency toward fascism surrounds you.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well Todd, what about the fact that he himself stated his support for Communism....

Communism is merely a stigma word these days for good reason. However... if people weren't moral degenerates and were actually full of the Holy Spirit then they probably would live in communes and care more for each other and so on. I'd join him in saying that.

That's essentially what the teachers and nurturers of the young are saying and why they often murmur about how they're supposedly just like Jesus and so on. Too bad no one actually is that way though.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I am a strong believer that the word of Christ will speak to each individual differently based on that persons needs that God clearly understands, so I cannot tell you what the Bible should mean to you, nor can another man tell me what it should mean to me.

If your subjective view of things is correct then it must be counted as an oddity that the Bible was written by men based on objective historical realities. In as much as anything is historical or witnessed the Bible is a compilation of such things.

Your view is so subjective that you've almost completed the circle and left yourself with nothing to say. Does your objective transfer of your morality: "Another man should not..." stem from a direct divine revelation to you or does it have to do with the testimony of others and/or historical evidence backing your claims? If the latter, then why couldn't there be other objective or transferable/"imposing" forms of truth that could be known in the same way based on the same type of evidence?

  47. I do not tolerate McCarthyism. I stand with Kenny Rivera. And people are asking for Evan's removal not b/c he slandered Kenny, but because he broke church confidences. And to what end...the election is way over.

    ReplyDelete
  48. So, since the anonymous comments obviously aren't reading the post...or have just decided that truth has no place in their world...it should be pointed out that I specifically did NOT detail the "church confidences"...I actually stated IN THE PIECE...that I would not include the confidential information...soooooooooooooooooo...yea, their "asking for my removal" #1 has no chance of happening and #2 has no reason to happen since no church law, confidences, or other rule was broken. Period. And as to the end, to the end that these associations and his own words should be vetted...before, during and after the election. I hope this will engage more folks in Red Clay to show up to the School Board meetings, especially now that they know the type of folks who are on their school board.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Evan still haven't heard from you regarding meeting. I offered both phone and in person so you could get to know me. So far you've not taken the opportunity to do so.

Thus is the crux of the integrity question that plagues you know in the issue with Kenny.

Even those of us that lean to right must call you on the issues when you make claims that lack honor. This is not to say that all your claims do.

If you don't know me you have no knowledge of whether I am a coward, occupier, Kerry or Kenny supporter.

I'm fact I am none. I'm a conservative that found your use of Communist and communism a sad attack. You can't keep falling back to lies and half truths to push your points. Some points are valid but lost in the delivery.

This is why you are getting the responses that you are.

Thursday isn't over. Main Street today
You pick specific place and time. Then perhaps your words (about me) will have at least some basis rather than just angry rhetoric.

  50. #1 Todd, I told you where I was, in public and I was there till 10:30 that night, you did not show, so you can boo hoo from here till the cows come home. Perhaps you can catch me at next months Western New Castle Republican Region meeting (6/25/12) or next months Founders Values meeting (6/26/12).
#2 The idea that I would go out of my way to "meet you on Main Street" is laughable. I have no reason to go near Main Street much less meet a liberal there.
#3 Whether or not you are a liberal is denoted by your choice of meeting locations...Main Street...what are you, 16? Calling me out to a fight in a parking lot? I'd laugh if I weren't 15 years too old for that nonsense.
#4 You call yourself a conservative...but the Commies call themselves progressives...so a word is just a word...
#5 I'm still waiting for ANYONE to point out any lies or half truths...so far you've just implied that they exist but given no specific examples. Of course there are no specific examples but that's what you lefties rely on, creating the impression that there is a question...regardless of whether it exists or not.
#6 The response that I'm getting is thousands of hits, a few disparaging comments from Delaware's far left and dozens of supportive emails from others...so I'll take that any day of the week. And, regardless of what you and your libby friends say, I'm at complete peace with this. I'm quite certain that this was exactly what needed to be said and the time to say it.

  51. You had the chance to show some honor some integrity.

You are now and will always be a joke. No one "called you out" - rather you want to claim that anonymous people hide in some way.

To go on that you think this is some sort of "fight in the parking lot" further shows what a punk you are. Real men look each other in the eye, discuss differences and present facts. You on the other hand have no interest in being a man it seems.

Kenny has said he is not a communist. I have explained as have others why what you did lacks integrity.

Add to that - you still dont know me and havent spoken an honest word about me yet - even though youve been given the opportunity.

Anyway, so what if Kenny SAID he's not a Commie? (Joe Biden SAID he was "middle class"...does that make it true?) It wasn't long ago Kenny was talking about how GREAT Communism and Socialism were...so which is the truth? The truth here is that even after speaking with Mr. Rivera about all that occurred thus far, there is no real answer as to WHAT the guy thinks. All we have to go in is what he's said...and what his associations show us. The guy is in bed with the uber left wing Socialist/Liberal/Communist-under-the-covers Democrats in Delaware and quite frankly, he knows it. So now, whether he likes it or not...whether he wants to or not...since he has run for political office and thereby opened himself up to these questions...people (and not just me mind you) expect him to answer these questions about what he believes and to do so publicly. Now, people want to hear him explain these associations and how they square relative to the person he says he is. I suspect that he will be approached privately and publicly to answer these questions and quite frankly, as an elected official, he owes it to the public to answer them.

  52. Although I think Red Clay was insane to put that whiney teacher on the school board, you were plain mean-spirited to attack the way you did. My beef is the guy needs to represent the taxpayers of our district, not the teachers. And his rant about his wife not perhaps being able to stay home to raise their intended child? Get real. We are all living on either 2 incomes, or at least 1 1/2. So Kenny, get a clue. Your constituency is taxpayers and students. Not teachers and unions. Red Clay needs to hire and pay those who can do the job. Not change a job and increase the pay because some union or teacher says so. There's the door, and a long line behind you of applicants if this job isn't to your satisfaction. Everyone can be replaced. Whoever made the non-resident union members the Boss? Red Clay sucked at making this a community, taxpayer, student agenda.
